The end times. When will Jesus return? What are the signs of His return? Will things get better or worse before He returns?
Have you been waiting for a golden parachute to take you out of this world? Should we even bother trying to impact our world for Christ? Is there really going to be a rapture and a 7 year tribulation? Will there really be an anti-Christ figure? Will Jesus truly return for a spotless bride? Find out in this informative interview. Eschatology is the study of end times. There are two primary views of the end times. One view says things will get worse until Jesus returns. Some even say, "Why bother trying to impact the world—it’s just going to burn!” Another view says Jesus will not return until He can present "to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.” (Eph. 5:27-28). This would indicate more emphasis should be placed on the condition of the bride instead of a timetable of events. When Jesus prayed that He desired "heaven to be manifested on earth” was that simply an allegorical prayer?
Sixty years ago some of the long-held beliefs the Church now believes did not exist. For 2,000 years the Church has held a very different view of the end times than what we are being taught today. Why have things changed? Glad you asked. Listen in as host Os Hillman and Harold Eberle, co-author of "Victorious Eschatology," answer these and many other important questions about the end times. Recorded December 3, 2009.
